We are so excited to share our latest feature with you… our onboarding CLI demo tool! This tool lets new users see how our platform works quickly and seamlessly.

You can transfer real CPU, DISK, and RAM data from your device to your account in under five minutes.

Step-by-Step

First, sign up for a free cardless MetricFire trial account here. The CLI will only work if you have an account. Then, open up your terminal.

Next, open the onboarding pop-up and copy your CLI code snippet.

Next, copy your account's API key, which you can find in your account, and paste it into your terminal. 

Then, choose which metrics you wish to send. You can choose between CPU, RAM, DISK, or ALL. The process takes about 2 minutes. 

Once the data has been sent to your account, you must generate the HG dashboard to see it! On the left sidebar, click the dropdown next to "Dashboards." Then, click "Dashboard Library." When you find the Welcome to HG dashboard, click Generate.
