SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a protocol used for network management and monitoring. To enable SNMP on Netgear gs308, follow these steps:

Log in with the administrator credentials.
Click on the “System” tab.
Click on the “SNMP” option.
Select the “Enable SNMP” checkbox.
